Our founder, Agnieszka, has been acting since Kindergarten and writing since elementary school. Throughout her life, she has loved immersing herself in stories. Once she moved to LA to be an actor, she noticed that there was little to no diversity in casting.
Enter 2019 and the push for diversity in Hollywood… or at least more roles for women of color who still fit the generic beauty standard - tall, thin, heterosexual, abled. Agnieszka may be white and heterosexual, but thin she is not, so despite the industry claiming to be moving towards diversity, the stories just weren’t there.
With many stories bouncing around in her head, Agnieszka started writing and creating art that is truly inclusive - color, size, sexual orientation, ability… she is writing and producing stories for these demographics because they all deserve to see themselves as the hero.
